Hi-
Today we took our first spelling test and read with our first grade book buddies. It is wonderful to see the 4th graders as reading mentors and modeling great reading behaviors. In addition, we took day 2 of our writing interim. The tests will be graded next Friday and the data will help guide our instruction. Next week, we will try to get into the computer lab for Spellingcity.com and begin some poetry.
ATTN: I still am in need of a room parent for this year. Please let me know if you are interested.
